Father Builds His Son A Star Wars Millennium Falcon Bed

Congratulations to Peter McGowan who, in my mind, should be named Dad of The Year after building his son a Millennium Falcon Bed for Star Wars Day. The assembly took more than 12 months and cost around $250 to make. But who wouldn’t want a Star Wars themed bed? The only difference is this one has a AT-AT leg for support, so you know it doesn’t collapse on the kid.

Star Wars day for those who don’t know (if you don’t know at this point, you probably don’t care) is celebrated on May the 4th each year, so we can say the corny phrase “May the 4th be with you” as play on words of “May the force be with you.”

Apparently Peter McGowan takes this date pretty seriously. I just wish my Dad did as well.
