Do you remember the days when you had to order pizza over the phone like an idiot? Well, no longer since smartphone apps exist that allow you to do that without having to talk to a person with your words and stuff. Also, you can use Pizza Hut’s app to alert people that you are in danger.
A regular customer of a Pizza Hut in Florida was being held hostage with her children and in a ridiculously clever move, she decided to use her phone to place an order for pizza and in the comment section put “Please help. Get 911 to me.” One of the chef’s and the stores manager instantly recognized her as a regular customer and called the cops.
Boom. This a** hat was arrested on site. He was threatening the family and had a rather large knife in his possession. Well done Pizza Hut!
