When Mrs. T the 90-year-old tortoise from Pembrook, Wales got her legs eaten off by rats while hibernating, future mobility seemed hopeless. The vet was unable to help the poor girl walk again. But the owner of Mrs. T turned to a mechanical engineer who made her a nifty set of prosthetic legs out of wheels from a model aircraft. Now she can move twice as fast as before!
