On Wednesday Marc Martel a Canadian singer uploaded a video of himself singing Queen’s “Somebody To Love” as part of an audition to become the new lead singer of Queen’s official cover band. The video has already received well of 500,000 views on youtube alone and has made the rounds on sites like reddit thedailywh.at buzzfeed etc. As an avid Queen fan I have to say Marc not only sounds just like the late Freddie Mercury but also resembles him (as long as he keeps growing out his “dirty stash” that is).
